Agencies: message to send your client
Copy, paste into WhatsApp or email, and you're done.
Hi! To set up your monthly Meta Ads reports, please give our reporting platform view-only access to your ad account. It takes about 2 minutes: 1. Open https://business.facebook.com/settings/partners 2. Click "Add" → "Give a partner access to your assets" 3. Enter Business ID 1625426785889349 (Pixel Pro Matrix) 4. Choose your ad account → turn on "View performance" only → Save This only lets us read performance numbers. Nobody can change, pause or spend on your ads. Step-by-step guide with pictures: https://reports.pixelpromatrix.com/connect Once done, please send me your ad account ID (the number after "act=" in Ads Manager). Thank you!
Prefer to send a request instead?
- The agency pastes the ad account ID in PixelProMatrix Reports first (step 6). We send an access request from Pixel Pro Matrix.
- The ad account owner opens Business settings → Requests → Received, finds the request from Pixel Pro Matrix and clicks Approve.
- We connect automatically, usually within minutes.
If something's not working
- I can't find Partners or Assign partners
- You need admin (full control) of the business portfolio. Ask the portfolio's admin to do steps 1–3, or to give you full control in Business settings → People.
- The ad account isn't in a business portfolio
- Personal ad accounts must be added to a business portfolio first: Business settings → Ad accounts → Add → "Add an ad account", enter its ID, then repeat steps 2–3.
- Meta says the Business ID doesn't exist
- Use the copy button to avoid typos: 1625426785889349. The partner name must show as Pixel Pro Matrix.
- Still "Waiting for approval" after an hour
- Check in Business settings → Partners → Pixel Pro Matrix that the right ad account is listed with View performance. Then click Check access. Still stuck? Email us.
- It says "Access lost"
- Someone removed the partner access. Repeat steps 2–3, then click Check access. All past data is kept.
- How do I remove access later?
- Business settings → Partners → Pixel Pro Matrix → remove the ad account (or the whole partner). Reports for that account stop updating.
